Avestha strengthens management
Biotech
firm Avestha Gengraine Technologies has strengthened its senior
management team by putting in place key executives to oversee its three
strategic business units. Gilles Amsallem has been appointed the chief
operating officer (COO) and J. Rajagopalan has been appointed chief
finance officer (CFO). Amsallem has more than 20 years of leadership
experience in the development of international biotech companies. He
also founded the biotech firm Mixis Genetics. Rajagopalan has moved in
from Britannia. "The business units include Avesthagen Research, Avgen
Nutraceuticals Inc and AgBiotech," Avesthagen CEO Villoo Morawala Patell
said.
