Kerala, Avestha Gengraine pact for biotech co

THE State Government's Industries Department and the Bangalore-based Avesthagen Gengraine Technologies Pvt Ltd (AGTPL) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a company that will work towards leveraging Kerala's rich biodiversity and expertise in traditional healing systems such as ayurveda.

Dr. Villoo Morawala-Patell, CEO, AGTPL, Mr. John Mathai, Principal Secretary-Industries, Kerala Government, signed the MoU in the presence of the State's Industries Minister, Mr. P.K. Kunhalikutty.
