Avestha Gengraine Technologies' Private Limited, a biotech company headquartered in Banga1ore, has announced the launch of new facilities in Andhra Pradesh. Based on the campus of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (lCRISAT) at Patancheru, the company will offer genetically modified organism testing and quality "assurance services of both domestic and international markets. The company's agro-biotech services will move into the same premises in accordance the agreement signed the company and the ICRISAT recently. Dr. William Dar, Director General of ICRISAT, said the agreement was a step forward for ICRlSAT’s partnership with the private sector. The alliance would be in keeping with the greater mission of enhancing the efficiencies, effectiveness, speed and precision of research in agriculture. |
