Avestha teams up with Sequenom

Avestha Gengraine Technologies has announced a research
collaboration with Sequenom to analyse the latter's proprietary panels of genetic markers
as associated with diabetes as well as breast
and lung cancers in Indian patients samples. The result of this
collaboration could provide further validation of Sequenom's genetic
markers and improve the understanding of the role of these genetic markers
in diseases on set, progression and therapeutic response, a release said
Tuesday.
